Dr. Patel spent her first three years working at a large group practice in North Austin. High volume, short appointments, patients who left without fully understanding what had been done or why.

In 2022 she opened Solis Dental on South Lamar with one intention — to take on fewer patients and give each one more time. First appointments at Solis run 75 minutes. She explains everything. Nothing happens without your understanding and consent.

She has a particular interest in helping patients who have avoided the dentist for years because of anxiety. About a third of her new patients haven't seen a dentist in more than five years. None of them are judged for it.
